 The story 

Ben looks like the safest option on paper. Fit, confident, and outwardly charming, he plays the role of the devoted fiancé effortlessly. He’s the kind of guy who prides himself on appearances—how things look from the outside matters more to him than how they actually feel.

Behind closed doors, Ben is deeply insecure. He masks it with control. He gets jealous when other men speak to Stephanie, questions her choices, and frames his possessiveness as “concern.” To him, love is ownership and Stephanie is something to protect, manage, and monitor.
