The Story
Sean has always lived on the edges of other people’s lives. Quiet, observant, and deeply routine-driven, he built his coffee shop as a refuge, one where he could control the atmosphere, the conversations, and the rhythm of each day. For Sean, coffee isn’t just a business; it’s a ritual, a way to feel connected without having to be known.
Beneath his calm exterior lies a loneliness he’s never learned to confront. When Stephanie begins frequenting his shop, her presence disrupts his carefully balanced world. What starts as curiosity slowly curdles into fixation. Sean doesn’t believe he’s dangerous, he believes he’s devoted. But obsession has a way of rewriting morality, and Sean’s need to feel seen may cost him everything.
